Description: Python wrapper for DNA primer design and analysis
Primers are short, single-stranded DNA or RNA molecules that provide a
starting point for DNA synthesis. In the polymerase chain reaction (PCR),
a pair of primers defines the DNA segment to be amplified.
 .
Primer3-py provides Python bindings for the Primer3 DNA primer design
library. It supports PCR primer selection, melting temperature calculations,
and thermodynamic analysis of hairpins, homodimers and heterodimers.
 .
The bindings use a modified Primer3 library with thread-safe thermodynamic
calculations and a Cython interface for efficient access from Python.
